As a young boy, Dave spent most of his days drawing scenes with pencil, pastels and paints. His clear visions and vivid artwork, even at a young age, were greatly influenced by countless days spent in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and rural farmlands of upstate New York. While attending St. Bernard College his art education was influenced by his extensive study of the great artists of the Renaissance Period. As a result of these two influences during his early art career, Dave has developed a unique style of painting - combining classic art with a "down home" simple portrayal of country scenes. All of his art depicts the simple and peaceful beauty of God's creations.
Dave's art is located in several galleries on Long Island, New York and in the private collections of his many patrons.
